Leef Bridge USB Flash Drive transfers files directly to Android devices

Leef Technology released a USB flash drive with enhanced functionality that can share and copy files to Android phones and tablets, PCs and Macs.

The Leef Bridge Flash Drive can transfer files between devices without cables, batteries, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or cloud services. It can let copy files from Android 4.0 or higher device with micro-USB connector, then transfer them to a Mac or PC by popping out the larger end. But in order for this to work, the Android device must have OTG (On The Go) capability.

It can also play music and video directly from the flash memory that makes transfer of files not essential. The speeds were less remarkable though. Transfers to and from devices were very easy and playback from flash memory is seamless. Unlike most slidable USB drives, the Leef Bridge is a little larger. Its main body has a lockable sliding cover that exposes one connection or the other, or protects them both.

Leef Bridge requires Android Jelly Bean OS 4.1 or later for smartphones and Android tablets, it also works on Win 8 tablet and of course on Mac and PC that are compatible as a standard USB flash drive. It currently comes in 16GB and 32GB and in the near future 64GB.

Scan your photos and documents using Brookstone Scanner Mouse

Technology can really be amazing with just blink of an eye. I stumble into this new device from Brookstone which is a multichannel specialty retailer and product development company, a Scanner Mouse with an integrated scanner that helps saves time and space which delivers a flexible manner of scanning files.

It works as a regular computer mouse, a point-and-click computer mouse with a durable dual laser sensor, track wheel, smooth motions and a comfortable grip. Through the Smart Scan button on the left side of the mouse, it can scan on photos, artwork or receipts by just gliding the mouse over a document freely in any pattern then the software will stitch the scanned images into one on the display.

The images scanned by this Brookstone Scanner Mouse can opt to save it in variety type of files such as JPEG, TIFF, PNG, BMP, XLS, DOC and PDF where can be subsequently uploaded to social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Flicker or email. Moreover, LG’s Optical Character Recognition technology is used to inevitably convert scanned text to editable Microsoft Word or Excel files. Images and text scanned can also be integrated with the application Evernote.

The Brookstone Scanner Mouse can scan documents and images up to 16.5” x 11.7” with a resolution of 320 dpi. The software of the Scanner Mouse includes functions for editing contrast, brightness, and zooming, resizing, rotating and cropping images.

As I was browsing the internet for the new gadgets in the market, I ran into this new innovation in fashion by the Italian denim brand Replay. A pants that could update your status on social network such as Facebook and Twitter for you.

The Replay Social Denim uses vinyl pocket in "fifth" extra pocket that contains Bluetooth-connected transmitter that communicates with your smartphones and a dedicated app to update your current location just by clicking the device. Its buttons can also broadcast your "happiness levels" in eight different moods from positive to negative directly to the preferred social sites.

These jeans is available in two colors: blue and black, in regular-slim or skinny fit for men and skinny or baby boot cut for women. It would just cost you €150-€199 for an easy update for your friends on Facebook or Twitter.

That sounds amazing, right? Very innovative and interesting. This jeans would probably open a way for fashion to adhere in the technology in today's generation.
