JediBot can duel with lightsabers against human opponents

Students at Stanford University have created a “JediBot” that can fight a duel against a human opponent. JediBot is the first robot, or robot arm to be precise, that will actually duel with you using lightsabers. ightsabers don’t exist in real world, this robot is using sabers made out of foam.

The JediBot isn’t the fastest sparring partner you can find, delivering one swing every two to three seconds, but it does mean you don’t need to have any friends to practice your lightsaber skills.

It has two modes the attacking mode and the defending mode. In attacking mode, the robot will swing its saber at you using preloaded patterns, while in defending mode, robot utilizes Kinect motion controllers to detect the position of a saber and block any incoming attacks.

Spam emails disguised as Google + invites

Google + has got a lot of attention after its release despite of still being in testing phase. The only way to get into Google + is by receiving an invitation from someone that is already using it. The spammers manage to find a way to utilize this into sending spam messages.

They have created a mail that looks identical to the Google + invites. They could trick the receiver to follow their link thinking that it would get them to sign up for Google +. If you follow the link, you’ll end up on a pharmacy website that will try to sell you all sorts of medications.

So, if you have received an invitation, make sure to double check the sender. It's still unknown whether this sites install any spyware or send spam messages to everyone in your email list.

Insanely detailed Lego PC case by Wang191

The hard drive, optical cages, and motherboard tray of the case are the only portion not constructed from Lego. All of the cables and wires are hidden in the Lego blocks. Blue illuminated EL wire is snaked through the case.

The amount of detail doesn’t stop on the inside though, inside the story continues, stuffed full of Lego, but just the right amount to keep the PC itself ventilated.

Such an amazing masterpiece!
